This magenta dress was a clear winner in the Sequins Contest! Thanks, everyone, for your comments and votes! I hope you enjoyed the contests. This week, my lover is whisking me off to the Riviera for a short summer break, but I shall be back next week with some brand new pics - which I hope you will enjoy!!!

Black miniskirt, black long sleeve blouse, natural pantyhose, high-heeled sandals. (Minifalda negra, blusa de manga larga negra, pantimedias naturales, sandalias de tacon alto.)
This Christmas bauble was hand beaded with sequins and pins by me. I have a Christmas tradition. I bead Christmas baubles for a select group of friends every year.
Each bauble is 15 centimetres in diameter and contain hundreds of sequins, varying in number depending upon the complexity of the pattern and the type of sequins I use. Most sequins in this bauble are 5mm in diameter, except the stars which are 10mm in diameter. Depending upon the colour of the sequin, I will use either a gold or a silver pin to attach it to the bauble. I always leave the flowers until last, allowing a gap in the sequin chain to pin them in.
These baubles are smaller than some others I do, and because it is a simple pattern which starts from the inside and is worked outwards in ever larger circles, each bauble takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours per side.
It is however, a labour of love which I do to pass the time throughout the year.

I can't even begin to tell you what a mess I made taking this shot. I'm still trying to get the focus right on my lens. Hopefully, I'll get the hang of it soon!

Sparkle and shine
This isn’t the first time I’ve worn a sequin jacket to work. (But it is the first time I’ve worn one to THIS work.)
The office was nearly empty so I wore NYE sequins to work! I wore sequins, later, too, but in the form of a little black dress. I didn’t get a photo of my after-work sequins, but scroll down for my NYE outfit from the last dacade’s eve. (No sequins, there, but I am wearing butt ruffles!)
