What's more rare than a supermoon total lunar eclipse? How about a supermoon total lunar eclipse over a lightning storm. Such an electrifying sequence was captured yesterday from Ibiza, an island in southeastern Spain. After planning the location for beauty, and the timing to capture the entire eclipse sequence, the only thing that had to cooperate for this astrophotographer to capture a memorable eclipse sequence was the weather. What looked to be a bother on the horizon, though, turned out to be a blessing. The composite picture features over 200 digitally combined images from the same location over the course of a night. The full moon is seen setting as it faded to red in Earth's shadow and then returned to normal. The fortuitous lightning is seen reflected in the Mediterranean to the right of the 400-meter tall rocky island of Es Vedra. Although the next total eclipse of a large and bright supermoon will occur in 2033, the next total eclipse of any full moon will occur in January 2018 and be best visible from eastern Asia and Australia. via NASA ift.tt/1ODsDxR
This was shot on location during the filming of a commercial. This sequence that I put together is solely exploring simple story-boarding through stills, and is in no reference to commercial. (except for subjects and location)
Please do view these shots in sequence from my photostream.

After having learned how to do this on one other example; yesterday - ha! - I thought I'd do a sequence of my Dad kneeboarding. I took this series of shots up at Gnaraloo last year and it seemed like a good set to work with. I think, given that he got covered up at one point, on a looong ride, this was actually quite ambitious. The wave changes from shot to shot, so trying to convey what the surfer is doing while keeping the context relevant has been a challenge. I ended up only representing the last third of the ride.
This arvo was a race to get the shot printed and buy a frame, cutting the mat board (with two broken arms;) so that it was framed, ready to give to Dad at dinner.
Today is my Dad's 60th birthday. He is my inspiration and my hero.
Talking of sequences ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4SNGPwJ1bE Scroll down to the Music Credits - what is the Youtube robot smoking? Lawdy indeed.
Another sequence. Bordeaux, mind, not this location. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oUF_TP_k0U
these are my school assignments, under the theme of sequence/consequence. please put some advise and encouragements :) it really helps
I'm not sure about this one: technically, I think it went okay. I'm not sure that the concept is coming across. Anyone like to say what they think I was trying to do here?
Thanks to John by the way. You gave me just the look I was after.

The sequence of images I took of the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. I used my eclipse computer to help me take the images at the right time, but I sometimes used an image from near the right time to use a better looking image. The first image (leftmost) was taken with a different camera than the rest and is scaled down. The last (rightmost) was the only time the sun was obstructed by clouds. All images were taken with the same lens, a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS. Expect for totality, the images also used a 2X teleconverter.
The image is 34,755 pixels wide in case you want a close look.
Four image sequence used to make the M42 composite. For those that want to download and try their luck. Each image is a full size TIFF file and 137mb.
Since there was a recent total lunar eclipse, I thought I'd take the opportunity present my own images from the 3 March 2007 (UK) eclipse in a fresh way. Try viewing large and scrolling up and down. ☺
Each moon image was taken about 11 seconds apart - you can see my original animation here.
