Finally done.. Total creature of circumstance on this one. Paint supply, colors, caps, just tried to go with the flow with no real plan.

 

Painted on multiple HOT sunny days with random Florida mid-day storms and to top it off there was a bee colony inside the wall.

Come give me some love and snuggles before you sleep my precious one. This was taken right before the video when the colt climbs into it's safe place hidden in the parents wing for the night.

As the sun's light diminished the exposure times lengthened making it harder to keep focus - I'd chosen 320 ASA - perhaps I should have progressively increased the ASA as the available light lessened.

First time I've done a series of sequence photos without a tripod. Didn't turn out too bad, if I do say so myself.

Tried to do a sequence shot but the most of the pictures was close together.
