It's a sequel coming out on Netflix, I think. Or one of those streaming services. Or if it isn't, it should be.

Sequel from "simba takes over city"

Storyline: Simba found somebody wants attention more than the city wanted. This man was brave enough to scarfice himself for a city. The man named was Mike. Mike wanted simba to stop rampaging the city and killing everyone. So Simba didn't take him seriously and started to play with him around. He uses his paws to start licking him on the ground, also playing kicks with the two front paws of his and another lifting him with his mouth and throwing him around in the air. Mike was starting to get sick and try to shouted simba to stop playing. One last lick from simba and he stopped. Finally Mike could breathe again and that he told Simba again that he should stop rampaging the city before many people get hurt again. Simba then reply "sure thing but only one condition, you make me king of that city and I'll make peace with the city and make sure anybody won't get hurt". Mike said, "ok but I am no mayor of the city or anything so talk to the mayor in the city and see if he could do it". Simba said sure and he will do it. So simba went back to the city and crushing people again. Mike should of thought of him talking to the mayor than Simba. Mike was afraid still of simba and so he wasn't thinking. Meanwhile, The mayor see simba as well and he got scared too. Simba ask if he could be king of the city? and the mayor said sure you can and you can have it all too. Simba was really happy to hear that and that causes him to wag his tail hitting little bit more buildings. The mayor knew and told simba that there is the safe place where you'll have room. So they took him to the airport and of course, they build more room so he could get room for himself. So now he is the king of the city and so what he wants, he'll get it soon enough. (to be continued)...

Sort of like a sequel to 'Autumn Drive' that I took a while back.

It was the last day before all the christmas lights got taken down so I found some nice ones and just drove past them repeatedly to get me a cool photograph. Annoyingly though they were only on one side of the road leaving one side dull and boring. I therefore composited and badly blended two exposures taken on either side of the road to make the entire picture interesting. I know I know - Photoshop...the root of all evil...but at the end of the day...we all do it.

Yes, some of the lights were from another picture - but all the colours are completely real - I white balanced for the temperature of my flash so it made everything a nice dark orange.

Polaroid Week AW 2023

Day 2 - Theme: Sequels and Re-imaginings #1

A triptych of the City of London.

Welcome to the London City Tour at night!

I remember when the I-1 first came out, how many abandoned the camera quickly, but I persisted and produced a series called Lightcrawler, in which I used the camera for anything but the norm, instead concentrating on what the I-1 was great at, and that the manual controls allowing it to produce beautiful light trails and controlled shots. Yes it meant it needed to live on a tripod, and was a bit useless as a camera for walking about. I mean I did end up calling it Jekyl and I-1yde :p

7 years later, and now that the I-2 lives under the Polaroid brand, with a rejuvenated mass following, and a lot more traction on social media, how do I follow it up my work on the I-1? The truth is I don't quite know, but I will continue to shoot what I've always shot and hopefully inspire others with my work both with long and double exposures.

A legendary starship despite its humble origins and deceptively dilapidated exterior, the Millennium Falcon has factored into some of the Rebel Alliance's greatest victories over the Empire.

I couldn't resist not to post this one coz its my fave starship in the starwars movie and also i'd like to dediacte this post to Mang Maning who now soars up into the heavens.

Sequel to Jared's octopus challenge. I got stuck in the St. Louis Greyhound station for a few hours on my way to Centerfold, and designed this mostly while en route. I never quite figured out what to do with the tail. Life is like that sometimes.

A sequel to the previously posted photo. It could be the same leaf (turned downwards by the weight of snow and looking more yellow and less brown because this one is exposed lighter due to snow rather than fog in the other photo) but I don't think it is; I think the irregular shape of the fence would show through despite the snow. SOOC.

For the Swedish-speakers out there: if one leaf is "ett blad" as long as it is fastened to the tree but "ett löv" once it has fallen on the ground (despite deciduous trees being called "lövträd", maybe because the falling of the leaves is what separates them from other trees) what is it if it gets stuck on a fence in between? A leaf with an identity crisis, an epistemological conundrum? (I think I think about things like this due to not sleeping well...)

Fun fact: This was taken one day after I posted the previous photo, so when I took this the title of the previous photo seemed very appropriate.

Sequel Shot to "Have Bags, Will Travel".

"Poof!" I just performed my vanishing act at a friends party. I think it was about 5am in the morning? I stood there and thought about walking home because I didn't live far; and after a few seconds I committed. I could hear the voices at the party fading in the distance and the clack of my footsteps echoing in the streets.

Most of my favourite photos occur at the strangest times. Mother natures studio lighting always blows me away and here, it duets with the local pier in a tango of purple and yellows. What an awesome night.

A sequel to www.flickr.com/photos/_insomniac/5302029130/. I just realized that I made this just about two years after the first one, which was when I first started to really focus just on black and whites. I decided to try a long exposure this time.

Jerusalem, Israel: (Sequel, to preceding photo) …suddenly breaks out in a bitter wail…. at which point I immediately put away my camera and try to console him. Fortunately, within a few seconds, his father appeared on the scene, gathered the little one into his arms, and calmed him down.

(2/2)

A Sequel to yesterdays image of the crested caracara at take off. As He continued his flight you could see the wonderful coloring and feather markings on this beautiful bird and it was a thrill to see him in flight as most times I have encountered this species it has been on the ground feeding.

Wishing you a wonderful start to a new week and a very blessed one !!!!!

i guess i never cleared up that this is relating to the book Through the Looking Glass: and What Alice Found There which is the sequel to Alice in Wonderland, though it is never mentioned and is a completely different storyline. The title is part of a quote from the book, said by the queen.

Introduction

It is recorded clearly in the Bible that the Lord Jesus is Christ, that He is the Son of God. Yet theEastern Lightning testifies that the incarnate Christ is the manifestation of God, that He is God Himself. So is the incarnate Christ the Son of God? Or is He God Himself? >Almighty God says, "'Jesus is the beloved Son of God, in whom He is well pleased'.... That was God bearing witness to Himself, but merely from a different perspective, that of the Spirit in heaven bearing witness to His own incarnation. Jesus is His incarnation, not His Son in heaven. Do you understand? Do not the words of Jesus, 'The Father is in Me and I am in the Father,' indicate that They are one Spirit? And is it not because of the incarnation that They were separated between heaven and earth? In reality, They are still one; no matter what, it is simply God bearing witness to Himself"

- A key to shooting a video (or photo) like this is to manually control the white balance. The white balance here is 10,000 K to bring out yellow/orange tones. The way to catch the rays of the sun is to shoot with a deep depth of field. Most of this video was shot at f/22.

- Shot with a Nikon D7000, and this video made the Explore page.

Granddaughter Shelby on the ferry to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. I and my camera are between two rows of ferry windows which created this Picasso-sequel portrait.

No, not a sequel to Susan Hill’s Victorian-inspired Gothic ghost story, but rather a Study of Women in Black from street artist James Klinge (aka “Klingatron” - www.instagram.com/jamesklinge_art/?hl=en), in collaboration with the art collective Art Pistol (www.artpistol.co.uk/art/love-struck).

This one, located across from The Old Ship Bank pub (www.oldglasgowpubs.co.uk/oldshipbank.html) is the more imposing of two anonymous women wearing black painted mere moments from each other (the other to be found in St Andrew’s Square) that adds more than a touch of mystery to the side streets of Glasgow's Saltmarket.

Yes, adding that touch of mystery and just more than a fearful “If looks could kill” reminder of what's in store for those sheepishly about to stagger home after spending a night at The Old Ship Bank!

I loved doing a milk bath shot so much the first time around (although I stated otherwise in the first photograph's description), I had to try it again.

My curls kind of remind me of cereal.

Edit: I just noticed today that this image and the previous milk bath image were taken almost on the same dates, one year apart. That was completely unintentional.

EXPLORE: April 17, 2009

I rarely do sequels, but felt this one was just too interesting to pass up. This time I was doing my spring cleanup of the flower bed and I heard what sounded like a B-52 Bomber followed by a KC-135 Stratotanker. This guy was big. Ran back into the house to get the camera and got a few shots. I was very careful not to get this one mad. The other photo showed more of the grape hyacinth so this one has more of the bee.

Please view in large size.

Press L to bring out the tones. I mostly don't like a busy bunch of weeds/flowers, but i kind of do like this particular plant and its setting; although i still think it's a mediocre shot at best.

A hit Hollywood film often leads to a sequel. Sometimes those movies do well, but rarely will they eclipse the original. Undaunted by those odds, NASA is set to reboot a successful study of Earth’s lightning from space -- this time from the unique vantage point of the International Space Station (ISS).

A team of Earth scientists at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville have high hopes for a follow-up mission for the agency’s Lightning Imaging Sensor (LIS) first launched into space in the late-1990s. Now, an identical LIS -- built as a back-up -- is headed to the space station for a two-year mission to probe the mysteries of lightning and its connections to other atmospheric phenomena.

Shot in Struga Ohrid (former Yugoslavia) at Spring of 1989 with a Contax 159MM, lens Carl Zeiss Planar 1,4 / 50mm in a positive Kodachrome 200 ASA. Years later the photo digitized with a Canon Pixma 4200F scanner.

Location: Near my house at Tamagawa River, Tokyo, Sunday (17 July 2011)

Taken while waiting for the sunset.

The fence now painted with orange, yellow and gold as the sun continued sinking in the horizon.

And was time to look beyond the other side and see the hues spread like a disease

That even the blues of the vast heaven started to melt and drown ...
