Installing the chamber for the running loop sensors. The sensors are set below the footpath. The cables run into the chamber (shown), down the bank and link to the data display.
They are housed in a custom made bolt down frame, which is set into the path.
Pictured is Ian. He is impossible to please, but a first class constructor.

Zou het niet gaaf zijn als de muziek vanzelf reageert op jouw bewegingen? Je zou bijvoorbeeld een dansmat kunnen maken die het soort muziek aanpast op hoe jij danst. Of wat dacht je van 'magic drum sticks': als jij bewegingen met je stokjes in de lucht maakt, vul je de ruimte met een
drumsolo. Leerlingen maken in dit Lab een interactieve muziekinstallatie, waarmee ze aan het eind van de workshop een optreden geven.
Het ingraveren van eigen naam op eigen mobiel is erg populair.
The sensor box has a Maxbotix LV-EZ0 ultrasonic rangefinder in it, and an LED. It connects to the main box through an S-Video cable.
My third attempt at this and my first ever PCB.
The design is much the same as the previous one but just laid out on a 2 layer PCB.
It can't be seen in this photo but the design is much smaller.

das ist ein "raw"-foto, seit beginn an hat meine kamera probleme mit ner kalten lötstelle (nach 4 maliger garantieleistung hab ichs verpennt sie erneut reparieren zu lassen) mittlerweile möcht ich den fehler aber gar nicht mehr missen :)
Sensor cleaning - Attempt 3. Now i have more dust/fibre and still have smudges but it's at the top of the picture. this is really annoying. and I've used 3 swabs. Those thigns are expensive. I'm not sure what to do now.
This one has become the barometer for my compost tea... it gets those brown spots when I don't dilute it enough.
