The IT building has motions sensor paper towel dispensers to try and limit the amount of paper towels that go to waste in the bathrooms. Regular paper towel dispensers open up opportunities for people to waste by allowing them to determine how much paper they want rather than the minimal they really need to wipe there hands dry. This makes the building green by cutting back on wastes and limiting the amount of paper supplies that get dumped in the trash unused.

Here are the results of a little test. Shot at f32 using my 70-200 f4 L lens (so I know the glass is good).
I get the same spots in the same position as I do on my standard 18-55. And boy is it filthy!

I was watching this bird from about 10m. It was flying on and off a small hawthorn tree with a small hummock next to it. Whilst it was off the tree I went and knelt on the rise hoping that it would continue to return to what appeared to be it's favoured singing perch. The first few times it landed back on the tree it landed out of my vision but eventually it landed where I got some shots including the one titled "Singing Whitethroat1". The distance on the focusing ring of the lens read less than 2m for this shot!
I then went back to my original viewing position and after a few minutes decided to try for a photo unobstructed by branches so again when he was off the perch I went back to the hummock and knelt a little way round from my original position. The procedure of first landing out of vision was repeated until eventually it landed where I got some shots including "Singing Whitethroat2" The distance on the lens for these shots read just over 2m.
The bird seemed totally unbothered by me being there because when I had finished I watched it again from further away and it continued frequently to return to the same tree.
