These are line sensors. They were supposed to be distance sensors, but
there was a communication problem. They are IR LEDs and an IP
optotransistor in one package. I had to hog out a hole in a single-side
PCB, then create my own solder pads. You can see where the cuts were. The
previous pictures show the sensors in the PCBs and how I JB Welded them.
The pitch of the pins were something like 65 mills. Oye.
The general robot is the one with the tank treads before and after this
picture. See the pictures in the last week or two of April for the next
generation - we cut a custom PCB and cloned an Arduino Pro328.
