A Great Western semaphore stands guard over the down platform at Carrog on the Llangollen Railway as Black 5 44806 runs round it's beer-ex, 17 April 2010.
These are the three semaphores at the west siding switch at Levy, New Mexico. The Raton Line is BNSF, historic AT&SF track and presently used by the Southwest Chief, Amtrak Trains 3 and 4. This sequence shows signals responding to the approach of westbound number 3, the train passing through the signals and then the signals clearing. The semaphore protecting the west end of the siding is always in stop position.
Once Number 3 has passed the circuit well down the track the green light goes off on the eastbound blade.

Whippany Railway Museum, Whippany, NJ. This museum is located on the site of the old Morristown & Erie trains station. The M&E connected the D&LW in Morristown with a (now abandoned) spur of the Erie railroad in Glen Fells, NJ. Passenger Service on the M&E was discontinued in 1928, but the museum runs excursion trains over the line.
after removing carefully the peep sight assembly i put another 2 inch half sphere fixed it with another C ring a common method .
this lamp when finished will be for the ACL Stiles semaphore .

The Semaphore look out post at Pointe de Raz, Brittany. This is operated by the French military, looking at the view, today may have been a good day to invade France! The next landfall from this point is St John's, Newfoundland.
