Seljalandsfoss waterfall in southern Iceland

Seljalandsfoss provient du volcan Eyjafjallajökull et fait 65 m de hauteur.

You can walk behind it!

Seljalandsfoss is a 200 foot tall water fall. It is unique by the fact you can walk into a cave behind the fall. Don't think about photographs there, it's mighty wet.

Seljalandsfoss, South Iceland

Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall in Iceland. It was a waypoint during the first leg of The Amazing Race 6. Seljalandsfoss is situated in between Selfoss and Skógafoss at the road crossing of Route 1 (the Ring Road) with the track going into Þórsmörk. This waterfall of the river Seljalandsá drops 60 metres (200 ft) over the cliffs of the former coastline. It is possible to go behind the waterfall.

The mighty waterfall, Seljalandsfoss, is half-frozen during the winter time.

I managed to stay out of the spray and capture its magnificence in the rays of the setting sun.

Cascade Seljalandsfoss (Islande)

Seljalandsfoss is a terrific waterfall and the idea of walking behind it is splendid.

Taken around Seljalandsfoss Waterfall in Iceland. This was my favorite area in Iceland. It was breathtaking.
