The waterfalls across the southern ring-road were all amazing in their own manner. We were so fortunate to be able to see these wonders of nature in person.
Taken around Seljalandsfoss Waterfall in Iceland. This was my favorite area in Iceland. It was breathtaking.
Seljalandsfoss has a narrow cascade but is one of Iceland's highest waterfalls, at 63 meters. The waterfall is highly picturesque and has the rare distinction that one can actually walk behind it.

Seljalandsfoss on the South Coast of Iceland bathed in the otherworldly light of the midnight sun. Seljalandsfoss is one of the best-known waterfalls in Iceland. This spectacular natural wonder drops around 60 meters into a tranquil pool below. Seljalandsfoss has been one of Iceland’s most famous landmarks since travelers started visiting the country. It can easily be visited on a day tour out from Reykjavík and you can find other interesting attractions nearby.
Wide angle classic view from behind Seljalandsfoss at sunset. It's really difficult to get shots with all the spray this waterfall constantly creates.
a bw version of an earlier pic. I left the figure in the shot in the hope to give a sense of scale. Not had much time to take pics, hopefully get my mojo back soon.

The Seljalandsfoss in Southern Iceland are fed from the meltwater of the Eyarfallajokull icecap. The falls are quite narrow and not particularly tall but fall with great force into the meadow underneath. There is a very slippery path so you can walk behind the falls you can just make out a person or two through the spray. I did not attempt this feat could not risk damage to me or the camera ( to be honest was using Mary's camera I never took my camera near a waterfall)
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT HAVE A GREAT DAY
