2 Nights ago after an epic thunderstorm, the sky and the sunset were incredible. I dragged my buddy Stephen out and set off for this hay field behind my house. I've got to say when you're standing on top of a hay bale, basking in this beautiful sunset, reflecting and feeling grateful for the earth in all its splendour..Troubles and pain evaporate for that short time. Anyway...Cheers buddy for firing my shutter as I forgot my trigger! Abi xx

I got some funny looks taking this self portrait, especially holding a random guys black umbrella to look like an overly large conducting stick but I'm telling you now...It was rather liberating and for the first time in this series I didn't feel self conscious that people were staring at me and thinking...What a dickhead she looks!!! I'm growing in so many ways and I guess. I'm finally being the ''conductor'' of my life. *bigkisses Abi xxx

this was supposed to look like you could see into my body through the frame and my inner self is sewing up my broken heart with a bit of magic.. but it doesn't quite look like that..it just looks like i'm holding a picture..oh well.. i still like it. :)
anyway.. the idea is that it is up to ourselves to be aware enough to recognize that what happened in our past may have done damage but that it can only hold power over us if we buy into the pain and keep it alive. it is up to us to heal the wounds.. through forgiveness.. compassion.. recognition that we are all imperfect beings, and that most of us would do things differently if we knew better... people cause each other pain because they are trapped in a cycle of unawareness..and we are growing and evolving out of it..
