A selenium toned version of a picture I posted last year. The field got a little too dark, but I like the ice like effect on the trees in the background.

Happy New Year!

I've been shooting a lot of landscapes this winter with a view to, one day, putting them together in a series. East Anglia, with its huge, dramatic skies, continues to unveil itself...

Close-up/Macro using a 60mm (equiv. 120mm) with 26mm (16mm + 10mm) Extension Tubes. I found I couldn't get the depth-of-field using a 30mm Macro lens. The extra camera-to-subject distance required with the longer lens gave a better depth-of-field.

My scanner has broken hence the snapshot of this recent mounted selenium-toned silver gelatin print.

I've been shooting and printing a lot of new work--including the above shot taken in Paris a few weeks ago--with a view to putting together a new series after the summer holidays.

Have a great summer and enjoy yourselves! :)

Bei der Goldtonung von Lithprints legen alle Tonwerte an Dichte zu. Deshalb habe ich diesen Print 2/10 Blendenstufen kürzer belichtet.

When toning lith prints with gold, all tonal values increase in density. That is why I exposed this print 2/10 f-stops less.
