This picture shows selective focus because the picture is focused just on the persons eye.

I have a lot of reservations about this. One, is the over-emphasised noise/grain. Two is selectively colouring a rainbow - since it is indistinct, it's really hard to do! And last it's channel mixed really hard to make the clouds pop. Still, there's some interesting elements - what do you think?

 

I like the vantage, and I plan to get back there for a sunrise with my 40D - this was taken on a cybershot. Gear snobbery aside, there just isn't the range and flexibility I'm used to!

Famous eyeball sculpture in sculpture park made from fiberglass, resin, oil paint and steel. The sculpture was made in 2007 and since then people all over STL come to see the 452 inch circumference sculpture. David Pennington, my dad, says "

Laumier Sculpture park is an incredible visual experience. Each exhibit engages visitors by combining art and nature."

 

My first university assignment was to capture a series of images based around an event at the Gold Coast campus, they were to be shot using Selective Focus (minimum DOF).

 

The Red Cross Blood Service had a mobile donation centre set up at campus and were kind enough to let me come in and shoot my assignment.

Forgot I took this. Taken using the My Colors setting on my Canon A610. Used the spotlight on my kitchen counter as the only lightsource to get the black background.

Are the eyes too much selective color or no?

I'm always behind the camera so I got my wife to take a few pics & I used my tripod to take our pic on this sunny day.

selective colouring used here, with attention drawn to the trains roofing highlights and headlight beams, best viewed large against black and white, otherwise its just another train shot! :)
