*** Assignment [Selective Color]: Runner Up ***
Alright, so this one is cheating because it's an old picture... this is the same rainbow that was in my chair shot from last assignment... but I just wanted to do it for fun. I even colored the second 'lighter' rainbow which I think gives a fun little effect.
My brother was at my house last night and Cedar was sprawled out on the floor. He asked me if Cedar was going deaf since Riley had started to go deaf at this age. I told him no, so he proceeded to call Cedar by name, no response, yelled "cookie" and then "treat". No response. I then grabbed a peanut butter jar and 1/2 way through the first twist, Cedar's head came around. LOL

The Red Cross Blood Service had a mobile donation centre set up at campus and were kind enough to let me come in and shoot my assignment.

Here's fellow photographer Burnt Umber at the Wings over Homestead Airshow. Not only is this a selective color shot, but for this event Umber only selected to shoot on film.
Nice seeing you again Umber, and I'm sure our paths will cross again.
Was messing about with Jasc PSP9 and this is the result of one of my experiments.

The beautiful sheep of North Uist.
Had daily views of these sheep. Seen from the kitchen and living room windows.
Stuck in a quagmire of holiday traffic in Panama City on Thursday, it took me an hour to get across town. Plenty of time sitting idly created many opportunities for photos. Most of them were quite meh and met with the delete key.
This guy though, carrying his sack of empty Coca Cola cans, and only Coca Cola caught my eye.
I was going to call this picture crazy train... but its clearly a bus :p
Was a very nice day today, dry & breezy with the odd cloud in the sky.
I had been in the local park before my bus left so had my camera out, i fired of a few shots to se what it looked like & this turned out ok but it took a bit of work to bring out the outside as it was so bright.
The inside had a nasty yellowy hue & i couldnt be bothered to sort it out tbh as ive got revision to be doing for my stupid geog exam tomorrow.
SO i just selective coloured it :P, i knida like the effect, but its a bit dodgey in places as tbh i dont have the time to do a quality job

One of the key non-violent strategies used in the 1963 Birmingham Movement is called "selective buying." By refusing to buy clothes from White-owned retail stores during the busy Easter shopping season. Blacks put economic pressure on stores that treat them unfairly. Here, a woman holds a sign that proclaims downtown Birmingham lunch counters should be open to all, including Blacks. Comedian and activist Dick Gregory, who stands behind her, leads marchers on this day. However, police stop them before they reach the retail district.
