Hello amazing Flickr people!

Today is a pink / purple day at Color My World Daily Group and selective color is a theme at Make me Smile on Saturday Group. So happy selective Pink day to every participants !!

I had a very hard time on deciding which picture to pick for this challenge. I don’t know why… but I’m assuming that this is all because of our lovely air conditioning still screaming and crying like crazy…. No need to say that it was very hot in Montreal lately (+39). We had a very humid and hot weather….

But hope is here !!! They announce a “very” cold weekend with rain !! So we will be able to sleep without A/C and maybe, my husband will be able to fix the damn thing before the next heat wave !! If not, we will have to develop some selective hearing (for some members of our family, there is already a great start in this field but others will have to adjust )….

As for my picture, I’m going with a safe bet, and personal obsession: an old book and a very tiny but sharp pencil and some splash of electric pink.

To highlight its beauty, I used selective colour on b/w

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!

Today is a pink or purple day at Color my world Daily but obviously I will skip it this week. We have an awesome theme at Smile on Saturday (one of my favourite groups on Flickr) and it is selective multicolour. I had lots of ideas for this picture but finally I decided to go with smarties. Not only because they are one of my favourite candies but also because of the multicolour factor. I took this picture on my cheat day and since I was home alone there was no one to share my candies with (and it is a very, very rare situation here …)… Isn’t that awesome ? It is like Christmas before Christmas ;-).

Sorry for not answering your comments yesterday, but my parent dropped by with a few bottles of emergency wine (apparently you are always suppose to have some emergency wine with you ... according to my parents) and yadayadayada, long story short, I have a huge hungover today… I will be back as soon, as my fingers are able to write again ….
