I came across an old red Schwinn. I think you will agree that I had no choice but to photograph it and process the image using selective colour.

Horned Grebe taken at Blackie Spit in Surrey BC.

Went out for a spin as it stopped raining. The gray and dull weather still made this shot look like a b & w shot except a touch of red on the eye. I was glad I went out cause this was a new find for me as well as some Sanderlings and Common Loons to come.

A shot from a while back which required some pretty tricky PP. I think it turned out ok. Always look to do something a little different.

I made a selection around the flower and blurred the background to get this detailed structure of this interesting and exotic looking flower.

This took a while to do :) but I'm quite pleased with the result.

I went to a pumpkin patch today looking for "The Great Pumpkin".

It was brought up how the selective color technique is so cool.

I've always liked the effect but really don't know my way around Photoshop AT ALL!

This is my first attempt, it's not perfect but at least I figured it out :)

The Skidmore fountain was dedicated September 22, 1888, in memory of Stephen G. Skidmore, a wealthy Portland druggist who died in 1883, and partly financed by his will. It was designed by sculptor Olin Levi Warner for $18,000, all of which was donated. It is styled after fountains Skidmore viewed at Versailles on his visit to the 1878 Paris Exposition and intended for "horses, men and dogs" to drink from. Henry Weinhard offered to pump beer into the fountain at the dedication. It is Portland's "oldest piece of public art". -Wiki
