Not the first time I have used this effect with the tower but it always looks good when the suns so low.
Do not try this at home! Superbowl pregame party included burning a Christmas Tree. Not sure if gasoline was needed after.... (don't people end up in the hospital this way)?! Made for a good shot though!
Created for 8th MMM Challenge
Here are 2 Tutorials for different ways to get this effect

Recently I've had concerns over the sharpness of my camera after dropping it on some rocks, then it pulls a shot like this out of the bag. I'm beginning to think it's user error sometimes :-)
Pentax K-3
Sigma 18-250mm
Aperture Æ’/5.6
Focal length 105.0 mm

I caught this group of tourists about to take their group selfie outside Buckingham Palace and quickly took the shot, luckily I caught the guardsman between the railings and decided to turn this into a selective colour picture. This is 3 exposures with -1+ stops bracketing, then Photomatix for HDR and tonemapping, and finally Photoshop for the finishing touches.
After seeing a lot of my favorite contacts use selective coloring, I decided to put an attempt to it myself. I'm amazed on how much more it brings out the subject when doing it.
