Nine-pointed stars and eight-pointed stars.

I didn't want to disassemble the display so I made the front brackets seat behind the screw heads (they just needed to be loosened a little).

In 1972 French firm Peugeot entered ts first post war model in the City Car segment, the 104. The car was very compact.

The initial variant had four-doors, with a stubby conventional luggage door. This was later updated to create a 5-door hatchback, a style that was becoming popular.

A 104 Coupe was launched in 1974 - though this was better described as a 3-door hatch. The wheelbase was reduced by nearly 190mm, compacting the car even further.

A number of updates in the late 1970s and early 80's saw numerous changes to engines and external appearance, square headlamps, black plastic bumpers and larger tail lamp units. These were applied across the Coupe and hatchback variants.

The 104 was then supplement by the iconic 205 in 1983, running through to 1988.

The 2014 North American International Auto Show is looking to be a great one for enthusiasts especially with many unanticipated performance cars debuting. The leader in its segment of entire level luxury performance the M3 sedan and what was the M3 coupe now became the M4 Coupe. With the M4 Coupe the RC F Coupe and ATS Coupe now all looking to challenge Audi RS 5 (RS 5 is the leader because it was the first with this scheme of separating the entire level Coupe and Sedan) Infiniti will follow soon. The only odd ball out would be mercedes Benz still combining the coupe and the seden of what C-Class which is also debuting at the 2014 NAIAS!

The retaining walls at Ridge Gate Commons provide a dramatic entrance feature for the new Cabela’s sporting goods store south of Denver. The 30-acre site is set into the sloping face of a high ridge overlooking the entire metropolitan area. Over 20,000 square feet of retaining walls were required since the pad had to be benched into the existing natural ridge.

The walls located at the front and back of the site are over 30 feet high making them highly visible. As such, the designs achieved a cost-effective, attractive wall system that complimented the spectacular natural setting. The front walls included over 20,000 square feet of segmental concrete units. This is a specialty wall system incorporating massive gravity blocks with geofabric reinforcement. The blocks have varying dimensions each with a stone texture on the outside face that creates a random, natural look. The back retaining walls included over 46,000 square feet of colored, sculpted Shotcrete overlaying an engineered soil-nail retaining wall system. The Shotcrete face was striated to closely resemble a natural rock outcrop.

My friends, it’s Saturday July 2 an a big holiday in America, Independence Day Weekend and I’m heading back into the mountains. Uploading all my past videos took so long to do, the internet service was spotty and any interruption, youtube would dump the

upload, and I would have to start all over again. I was hoping to have more time to write

About some of the details of my journey, but the over two weeks of video journals took so much of my time.

My rest in Hot Springs was much needed; my wounds are healing better now that I was dry and clean for a few days.

With the rest and good food, I’m resupplied, strong and made some adjustments with my gear, my pack with 6 days of food is now only 43 pounds…that’s with water in my pack too…

I hold you all in my heart and share my journey with you….

Peace, Love and Light…….

[4 images complete this set on the Nelson House in Lynchburg, Virginia] This is a creative commons image, which you may freely use by linking to this page. Please respect the photographer and his work.

The John Randolph Nelson House in Lynchburg, Virginia was built in 1878 is a 2 1/2 story brick home with the Second Empire mansard roof. [Nelson was an attorney.] The front façade was the only perspective I had on this residence. In the roof are four 2/2 segmented arched dormers with an interesting and irregular grouping. Above these are three ornamental metal vents and below is a course of bricks appearing as dentil. Below this brick course are three recessed brick panels. The windows on the second level are more symmetrical, even corresponding to the placements of bay windows on the first floor. Again there are arches above the windows but not as rounded as with the dormers. The entrance is centrally located and is arched. The single-leaf wooden door has recessed panels with a transom no longer in use. On each side of the entrance is a projecting bay window with three windows each—the middle is the largest with a 2/2 pane configuration and those to either side are 1/1. A slight roof to each bay is supported by brackets. On the very right on the structure is a second arched entrance. The house is part of the Court House Hill-Downtown Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places August 16, 2001 with ID#01000853 (and a boundary increase added November 22, 1002 with ID#02001361)
