This is one of the first beaded cabochons I've ever made. I used a sew-on rhinestone, layered sequins, seed beads, and some black vinyl fabric for the backing.

After a long search, I finally found instructions for a triple spiral in Beadwork magazine. It's part of a pattern by Nancy Sathre-Vogel in the Dec 06/Jan 07 issue.

Creo que se van a transformar en un colgante y unos pendientes a juego, pero ya veré. Ah, y están realizados con rocalla Preciosa 9/0.

Preciosa Ornela has supported and been actively involved in the preparation of a number of outfits through its cooperation several secondary schools. The company has provided the Applied Arts Secondary School and College in Jablonec, which has designed two evening gowns, the Applied Arts Secondary School in Železný Brod and the College of Fashion Design in Prague with glass materials and costume jewellery components in order to enable the students to create youthful fashion designs.

It looks simple but this was a tricky bit of bead weaving. I had to count!! My own freestyle version of a published pattern for an entirely different necklace piece, done in seed beads.

This is my second ootheca cuff bracelet. The original design belongs to Rachel Nelson Smith. It is so wonderful in it’s simplicity I find it truly irresistible!
I changed the design a bit to end up with something a little more to my liking and chose a color scheme inspired by the sandy beaches of my country.

This is a loom woven piece, based on a photo taken of my dog, run through a Bead Creator program. Despite using software to help with the creation of the pattern, there's still hours of work to tweak the colors and clarify the image. (7 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches)
