Title: Bombyx mori
Size: 6" x 6" x 1"
Medium: stained glass, millefiori, seed beads, gem stone beads (not sure the type of gem stone), glitter and photography (mulberry tree leaves)
I chose the Bombyx mori moth (latin for silkworm of the mulberry tree) because it is used in traditional chinese medicine. So I thought it was fitting for this charity auction benefitting Doctors Without Borders.

Bead Studs appear to be sitting on a bed of crystals. Little peaks all lined up in a row on its pointed end. The cuff forms a seamless bracelet around your wrist with the toggle clasp in the same shape and embellishments.
Since my first bead embroidered cuff, I am totally addicted to this great new hobby. So I made another Oriental cuff, in black with bronze accents. The cabs are made of black polymer clay, with bronze Pearl-ex. It is combined with black seedbeads, and finished with a great oriental clasp, that I found on the internet while I was working on this cuff. The inside is finished with black ultra suede

Alena and Jaroslav Klempíř are currently considered to be the greatest experts on Greenland in a general context. They are members of the International Organization of Journalists. They work in the fields of social geography, history, climatology and glaciology.
Greenland, the largest island in the world belongs to Denmark and it lies at the intersection of the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. Upon meeting Alena and Jaroslav Klempíř, you will very quickly understand that this island has literally become their second home. After years of trips to Greenland, they have come to know the beauty of its nature, the wonder of the polar days and the magic of the polar nights. During their research, they have gathered many written documents from the history and the present of Greenland. They have been searching for the traces which the missionaries from the Moravian Brethren have left on the island.

The straps on this piece are flat Ndebele stitch, and are incredibly supple and snakey. The green agate cabochon is actually very shiney- so much so that I had to direct the light away from it to get it to photograph without reflecting.

A big hole bead made on a fine silver core.Encrusted with seed beads, amethyst and freshwater pearls.
This necklace is made of different sizes brass wire, seedbeads, floral cameo cabochon and ribbon. You can wear this pendant with 2 different ribbons. Necklace is about 43 cm long. Pendant is about 5x4 cm.
This piece was created for the February EBWC challenge; the theme is "Tropical Holiday." It is made from seed beads and most of the shells I found by the Sea of Cortez near the Bay of La Paz. A tropical paradise near and dear to my heart. I used the mesh netting method and added tiny seashells as a fringe; many of them with natural holes and it feels like clear blue skies, turquoise waters, and warm sunshine. The inside length of the necklace is 19 & 3/4 inch (50.16cm) and is strengthened with a length of silver wire and a sterling silver nautical S clasp.
