This bracelet was completed on Australia Day 2012 and in honour of this day this bracelet will be known as 'Sheila' (Shee-la - Sheila is a colloquial term for a girl or woman in Australia).
Bead Studs appear to be sitting on a bed of crystals. Little peaks all lined up in a row on its pointed end. The cuff forms a seamless bracelet around your wrist with the toggle clasp in the same shape and embellishments.
I was in a bead store yesterday and these tiny beads in tubes made for a really colorful shot. I wanted to take more, but didn't want to get yelled at :)
A very close cousin of my previous entry, Clementine, this macrame plant hanger is fine jewelry for a very lucky plant.
24 orange wood beads, and 96 tiny jewels make this handmade natural hemp macrame dazzle with style.
A tedious project, taking 3 hours to complete. Worth every minute of the labor.
The 6 strands of alternating square knots & twisting sinnets, it can perfectly accommodate a variety of sizes & styles of planters.
23" long.
Too chunky for a bracelet, I re-designed this as a necklace with my signature swirly spacers

SOLD. Created as a entry for the compeition being run by Beads Online. You are required to use a minimum of 40% of the products that they offer. I have used one of their glass tiles to seal and feature a section of vintage Kimono fabric. I then peyote stitched a bezel around it, sealed the back with Ultrasuede, then embellished it with Vintaj brass bead caps, Swarovski Crystal pearls, Czech Fire Polished Beads, Brass Spacer beads and Artisan Hand dyed Fairy Silk Ribbon.
Today I was notified that Kimono Windows was 1 of 4, 1st place winners in the Beads Online beading competition ... :)
This is a really fun design. Each flower is woven separately and then attached. The bracelet is lightweight and easy to wear. The Opal Blue crystals and lime green glass beads are fun colors for the summer!

Okay! Now we're talking! summer is finally arriving in many parts of the country! I like to think I helped bring it on with my positive flow of sunshine energy as I was working on this sweet little bracelet! The base is made of a bead soup mixed herringbone cuff with all kinds of great beaded flower embellishments. The bracelet measures 7 1/4" inch (18.41cm) from end to end and will fit up to a 6 1/2" inch (16.51cm) wrist. The width of the band is 1 1/8" inch (2.85cm) The closure is made of a glass flower bead to compliment the bracelet.
Un anillo en cubic-raw que queda grande, como me gusta a mí. Todo con rocalla 11/0 Miyuki, Toho y Preciosa.
Espero que os guste y muchas gracias por vuestras visitas y comentarios.

I have to say I was inspired for this piece by Isabella’s October Challenge theme “Autumn falling of leaves” and from one of Laura McCabe’s workshops class I took a few weeks ago in the UK. The result of her influence and Isabella’s theme is this piece which for me represents a whole new on design, engineering and color in my beadweaving. Thank you both for your inspiration!!
To me both Spring and Autumn are magical seasons; they are a time of new beginnings, a time when nature changes, stirs and brings out all her magic in new colors, smells and landscapes. I was warmly surprised to read Albert Camus’s quote given by Isabella:
“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."
I was instantly dreaming of autumn landscapes in the seaside, the mountains, and garden flowers. But one particular picture I keep in my minds eye just staid with me: it was the view of the maple forest up in Mt Pillion at the beginning of autumn last year. All the leaves had turned yellow, gold, copper and red and the trees were damp from the rainwater so their barks came out a really dark, shinny brown. But lower down, same smaller, climbing plants were still in their spring costume, bright, fresh green and lime. It was a truly magnificent sight and a great color pallet for this piece.
This piece was created for the Etsy Beadweavers Team October Challenge. The collar is 16” long and the center piece hangs about 5”. It is made of pearls, crystals, 11o, 15o seed beads, 3-cuts and charlottes and time, plenty of time…
You can see all the entries on the teams’ blog after October 9th and voting will take place between October 9th and October 15th .
Please visit the Etsy Beadweaver's Team blog between October 9th and 15th. And vote for your favorite entry.
