Crosville Wales inherited a number of ECW bodied Leyland Olympians from the parent Crosville fleet when it was first formed in August 1986. Subsequently many secondhand examples were acquired. DOL402 (YWX 402X) an ONTL11/1R fitted with Northern Counties H43/28F came from South Yorkshire (102), Pontefract. Here it is seen in Caernafon on October 15th 1997.

Cardiff Bus have recently acquired 12 10-year old Mercedes Citaros, to add to the existing fleet of 40 similar machines. They've come from Bus Vannin, Isle of Man and are currently being fitted out and sprayed into a revised fleet livery. The fleet numbers will be 141 - 152 with their new UK registrations currently being sorted at the DVLA.
Shown is ex. Bus Vannin 211 (KMN-211-L) still wearing the livery of it's previous owner. They will replace the Enviro 300's, 701-706 & 711-716, which were new in 2004.

JR and RK Ellis. Good to see this place still up and running. I wonder how much business they get.

Cecilia finally got her Lolita outfit! I bought it secondhand from a lovely seller on FB. She shipped it immediately after payment, but unfortunately it took a long time for it to arrive (almost two months!). It was definitely worth the wait though. It fits her perfectly!
Up until the late 1980s, the coach park at Battersea Wharf was used as the overflow parking area for coaches using the nearby Victoria Coach Station and as such would almost always be worth the walk over Chelsea Bridge.
Parked there in August 1984 was Maidstone & District Leyland Leopard / Duple Dominant II 2421 MNK421V. It carries Invictaway fleetnames for services from the Kent region.
This coach was one of a number of former Fox of Hayes coaches that were acquired by NBC companies in 1981/2. Maidstone & District took MNK421-3V, East Kent MNK424-6V, Alder Valley MNK427-30V, and Eastern National LLT342-7V.
Covent Garden, 1982; probably September 10. Writing on the slide says "Radio 1 Roadshow." The person who took this shot has a shot of the Thames they dated 9/12/82... Seems the BBC did its remote shows on Fridays, so this is likely the 10th.
Kate Bush was interviewed by Radio 1 here on 9/10/1982. According to this clip she was wearing a t-shirt saying "I'm a Prima donna" soundcloud.com/katebushnews/bbc-radio-1-roadshow-covent-g...
