...the shells she sells,
are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells
on the seashore,
I'm sure she sells
Seashore shells!.
I shot this for the Macro Mondays group theme of From The Sea: 09/07/2012.
Hmmm! Didn't have much to offer this week for the theme, so was going to give it a miss!
At the last moment, I decided to shoot one of my seashells, using a very shallow depth of field!
I haven't quite got the effect I wanted though. I like that the shell merges nicely with the background, but the shadow is a bit too harsh!
Oh well...
HMM! :)

These are seashells my father in law picked up on the sea bottom off of the Kwajalein atoll. I took this picture a week ago, but I won't have any chance to use my camera for the next 2 days, so I'm going to use this for my Single In...for October 16. I uploaded it on the 15th, so I'll add it to the discussion thread for the 16th from my iPad, probably in the morning.
Super Takumar 50mm 1.4 8 element, shot wide open or f2 at the most.
