lc-a+, agfa precisa 100, x-pro
With supplies of my favourite Lomography Chrome 100 film (made by Kodak) due to run out soon, I thought it prudent to try out a few other slide films for everyday cross processing. Including revisiting the "new" Agfa Precisa, which always seemed to be great for blues, and not so good with greens. So I stuck to the city, and tried a few low-lighting shots too.
Here is a scene from the newly renovated seafront. In this shot you can see one of the yellow Southsea shelters, very handy on windy days like this!
Also in this shot are Gosport, to the left, Clarence Pier, the Cathedral (in the distance, next to the shelter), Spinnaker Tower and the war memorial.
(I actually put the wrong description under this photo, so apologies if you read it and it didn't make sense!)
Altea, Alicante.

I love some details of my city, and the seafront of Bari is definitely one of them, with its sea just a few steps away, its benches, and above all its street lamps. Almost 200 in all, these characteristic black street lamps dating back to the 1920s are nicknamed "the candelabra" and make the seafront of Bari absolutely unique and magical. I hope to be able to work on them as soon as possible with their restoration for the Municipality of Bari.
Seaburn Seafront - late January afternoon. With thanks to David Allan for the idea here - although his sunrise images are vastly superior. There's a lot of improvement work going on along the seafront here and it's a lovely place for a walk especially with the thunder of the waves as a soundtrack.
Sewerby Hall and Gardens to the left and the Harbour and Town to the right, Bridlington, 12th March 2025.
It was too windy to spend much time at the seafront, but a visit wouldn't have been complete without a stroll along the beach!
You can see Swanage pier in the distance.
Brighton Seafront 30th of October 2018. I was in Brighton overnight to watch David Byrne's American Utopia Tour and spent the bright Autumn afternoon walking the seafront and pier
