Cephalopodmas ornaments made out of polymer clay

Insomniatic Jewels look two by Octopus Army. Agate Party dress, studded jewel belt, lace and black glitter bunny ears, leather and green marble clutch, black bead onyx cluster earrings and bright canary chain shoes complete the look.

Here is a better view of the accessories. The ring is a wilted rose (painted sculpy).

A sculpy facade that the camera pans up past and shoots up to the top of the mini building.

Here is my second attempt at action figure customization: The Warhog. His torso is borrowed from Hasbro’s (3 ¾ inch) Colonel Dovchenko figure from the fourth Indiana Jones film. His head is a smooth-on plastic cast of a Schleich warthog made from an alginate mold and finished with acrylic paints, Sculpy polish/glaze and faux hair. Guns by BrickForge.

Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the final piece and hope to do more with this guy.

I thought with this dunny it might be obvious but Max fits perfect onto the shape, and i've always had the image from the opening scene of the game in my head when i think of them, so i decided to make it.

He is my first custom 3" dunny. I actually painted it early last year and had finished making the head from sculpy but hadnt gotten round to putting the ginger hair on it, im such a slacker. haha

Heres a link to the image i had : files.nintendic.com/nintendic/sam-and-max.jpg

hope you guys like :)

I am messing with spraypaint.... and a design by Camo, well I stretched it out a bit, and I need to add tons of more paint, like eyes and mouth and such, (which I'll do with stencils or brush or course), this was just my first coat, I did all three colors real quick together, and even misted a couple together, (experimenting) ;)

the handmade flower is made by this cool guy down at the downtown mall, he makes them from some other plants stalking, (that would work great for wicker baskets and such). He doesn't ask money for them, just gives them out, and accepts 'offerrings', (how cool is that) One day I saw him making crickets and other things with the same material... I'll have to get one next time i c him...

5" sculpy.

i always welcome crits and feed back.

I used that bitty blob of leftover clay to make my itty snake (it's not an inch tall)

This is the center disk mold I made from Sculpy's mold maker compound. If this were going to be eaten I'd have used a food-grade mold clay instead, but time was running out and this is what JoAnn had. To make the holes, I used 6mm plastic beads. I used the pic at the right to guide me in making the gorgeous spiral pattern. Took me a week and two different tries, but it was worth it!

Sun Dragons have marbles for eyes that catch the light and make the eyes appear to be glowing. They are made with polymer clay and the scale designs are made with a technique called Millefiori.

Made out of green Fimo with a clear marble and a tan / white rock.

The wings were made with Liquid Sculpy so that they would be translucent and flexible.

Approx. Dimensions: 1.5" H x 1.75" W x 2.75" D

I ran out of organic eggs, but have a bazillion plastic eggs. I wasnt satisfied with the eggs I'd done so far. I saw a picture of something in polymer with paisleys, and dots and bubbles. I also got a set of "pearl and etch" tools from the Studio line of Sculpy (I think it was one of those products that I saw the paisleys but could not find the image again when I went to look). This egg is a neutral taupe color then coated in mica powders, and highlighted with polishing wax

This is one of my first artist dolls, she was exhibited at the Santa Fe Doll Art Show and the NIADA convention. She later was donated to the Create/Fixate arts organization in Los Angeles

Her arms are poseable and removable-- a trick i learned from the great doll artist E.J.Taylor in our private coaching session at the convention. He makes all his dolls with this option when dressing allows. You can transport them easier without breaking fingers in transit!

about 15"x12"x20". She is made of Paperclay, cloth, mohair, leather, oil painted. Substructure is sculpy, wire, cloth, fiber fill, metal tubing, wood doweling. Base is wood and fabric.

These are a series of sculpy sculpted necklaces. I did the sculpt and then painted them like old school tape cassettes. I sealed them and added a cotton cord.
