Last minute, Dia de los Muertos-meets-the-Misfits. Mask via Kooza (Cirque du Soleil). Horns via Aditi and some Sculpy Clay. Hoodie via Lucky. Deep blue eyes via my father, probably.
Shot of me in my satyr costume, made a few years ago for a Purgatory mythical creatures show down in the Charlotte. This time, I was wearing it for Halloween again, and once again I was given a horrible headache from the tightness of the horns on my head.
They were horribly crooked this year but they were a bastard to get rigged up as well. The last two methods used to keep them up didn't work. :(
One of the rune sets I have made for sale.
These are not made from a mold. The clay is hand mixed, layered, and then rolled thin. Each rune is cut out. And then I begin the laborious process of adding the actual sigil to the blank rune. The sigils are made from strings of clay that I extrude through a clay extruding gun.
Felt Christmas garland hearts and stockings approx 1.5" x 1.5" each. Stockings contain one hand made Sculpy candy cane. Gold garland string from floristry supplier. Mini pegs from Amazon seller.

by Beebs.
incidentally, if you have a box of sculpy clay on the counter when you have knitting friends over, they will all, individually, pick it up and go, "ooooo, sculpy."

Everything seems to be a bit of a challange with this gal, I removed the core, but since I took out the eyes and resculpted them, the inside is too small for eyes, I hd t go n there and tr to dig out the right shape. And the headcap part, aparently didnt have enough clay on a section and crumbled apart in the middle! EEP! I will have to try and make her a new headcap today. And one of her ears fell off while sanding, I really should have attached the ears later
I was wondering if anyone out there knew, if you make a core for a peice like the torso, do you have to cut it open remove it and stick the peices back together? the head was a little more straightforward, and I was curious what thoughts were.

I thought with this dunny it might be obvious but Max fits perfect onto the shape, and i've always had the image from the opening scene of the game in my head when i think of them, so i decided to make it.
He is my first custom 3" dunny. I actually painted it early last year and had finished making the head from sculpy but hadnt gotten round to putting the ginger hair on it, im such a slacker. haha
Heres a link to the image i had : files.nintendic.com/nintendic/sam-and-max.jpg
hope you guys like :)

My friend Bryan & I placed "Sculpy" (the sculpture I made) in the K-State Union parking lot at 3 a.m. one day, unapproved and unsolicited. It remained for a couple years.
Here, my dad and brother and I finally take Sculpy down, as they're building a new parking garage on the premises.
A 5" munny completed for the Davmo and the Young Guns art show at the CAC. Now on display, until January 5th.
Here is my second attempt at action figure customization: The Warhog. His torso is borrowed from Hasbro’s (3 ¾ inch) Colonel Dovchenko figure from the forth Indiana Jones film. His head is a smooth-on plastic cast of a Schleich warthog made from an alginate mold and finished with acrylic paints, Sculpy polish/glaze and faux hair. Guns by BrickForge.
Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the final piece and hope to do more with this guy.
