My friend Bryan & I placed "Sculpy" (the sculpture I made) in the K-State Union parking lot at 3 a.m. one day, unapproved and unsolicited. It remained for a couple years.

Here, my dad and brother and I finally take Sculpy down, as they're building a new parking garage on the premises.

first attempt at modding elf ears. I just used sculpy, so it is very temp, but it's good for practicing.

I think it came out ok...I need to learn how to smooth it better..but I feel that when I use epoxy clay it will be easier..and I can always sand it smooth after it sets. *shrug*

But more practice is needed!

His head is a smooth-on plastic cast of a Schleich warthog made from an alginate mold and finished with acrylic paints, Sculpy polish/glaze and faux hair. Guns by BrickForge.

I sculpted a monkey from super sculpy and baked it in the oven to make it hard and then painted it. This part is of course not edible.

Sculpting with voxels in Coat3D. There are a number of tools, additive and subtractive strokes, a sphere brush, a means of pulling out spikes, a move brush, smoothing brush, something called snake, which seems similar to clay splines in other programs.

There are also a number of materials to choose from while sculpting, including wax and sculpy like materials, cavity shaded bronze, copper, pewter and a red wax that seems almost identical to the Default material in ZBrush.

Icons superman, doombot arm, sculpy bits

I had to take this pic when Sarah was working on her munny today. I loved the heart!
