This unique flatware and tableware builder kit contains all of the essentials you need to create a simple and traditional place setting for meals. It even contains extra bowls and plates for those unexpected guests!
The kit contains two varieties of plates (both oval and circular), stacks of four of each kind of plate, a bowl, a stack of four bowls, a fork, a knife, a spoon, and a glass tumbler - each modeled with a single sculpted prim. Each model is extremely LOD resistant and the stacked versions help to reduce unnecessary prims, helping to keep your building primitive counts as low as possible.
This particular set comes plain white baked textures with realistic reflections and shadows, you can tint this version any color you want, but it is also available in other colors. The kit was made with the professional builder in mind and also comes with a convenient demonstration version of the entire setting for quick and easy reference. The entire setting is excellent for homes and buffets.
The package contains all of the require sculpt maps in a protected format. And all textures full permission.

Sun Dragons have marbles for eyes that catch the light and make the eyes appear to be glowing. They are made with polymer clay and the scale designs are made with a technique called Millefiori.
Made out of blue and silver Fimo with a clear marble and a brown rock.
The wings were made with Liquid Sculpy so that they would be translucent and flexible.

I often do mock up passes on sculpts I plan on doing with Apoxie clay with Sculpy first just to get an idea of general shapes. That's what this is.
This guy was one of the four little pieces I made based on Heather Walde's drawings.
He's made completely out of sculpy and then painted with white enamel and detailed with sharpie. Housed in a found wooden box with a small glass window.

This is a wooden cigar box designed as a bead box. The lid was created with lilac shot doupioni and then a RibbonSmyth Vintage Fusible Image was ironed onto the doupioni fabric. Lace pieces from a French Couture house (gathered from my trips teaching in France) were collaged around the image.
Next a clay cabochon made from a Czech button mold was made using Sculpy. Out of the oven and then rubbed with copper Pearl Ex.
Glued to the box and added silk ribbon embroidery around the cab. Inside lid has a vellux lining for beads.
My first dragon focal bead following the ideas in Christi Friesen's book on making dragons in polymer clay. I used Sculpey as well as pearls and moonstone beads with pearl and powder blue mica powder for extra shimmer. Unfortunately my toaster oven is prone to rapidly overheating...none of the purple was intentional. Needless to say, I got one of the ovens designed for use with polymer clay-an excellent investment that I don't regret at all.
The main drawback to the bulk packages of white sculpey (different formula to the white Sculpy in the smaller packages) is that it scorches WAY too easily and is too soft to hold its form when sculpting. Good for prototypes that you don't care too much about but I much prefer Kato Polyclay.

He's a bit big for the cake, I guess I should have thought of that before I baked him off :( Oh well, guess I'll make it work as Tim Gunn says :)
***Now I need to figure out how to attach the heads to the cake. My idea is to make the cake look like a wooden box ( I'll post a pic of the idea) any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! =)****
Well, he could turn out to be Superman, but who knows? Most of the time the figure dictates how it will eventually turn out. As i work on the i don't try to force an outcome.
Little snowman made from foam balls, sticks, felt, fabric scraps, sculpy nose and cotton wool wadding. A touch of glitter mixed into the final coat of paverpol.

The ladder was made by my father in law, it was already yellow. Then last year we painted the livingroom a different yellow. So I think I might paint the ladder red once I find the right color :)
Redwork designs, the kitty is my own design, I don't remember if I drew the fish or not. Not trying to take credit for another's work, but I just truly cannot remember if that's my design or someone elses (sorry!)
Wreath is something I made years ago, and the light switch cover is liquid sculpy clay on a plastic switch cover.
