This ring was hand formed from 16 gauge sterling silver wire. The scrolls were made using round nose pliers, the ring was soldered together and then lightly hammered prior to being polished to a mirror finish.

I finally ditched the side pole and lettered more widely, and I'm glad I did. It's not perfect but the lettering feels much more natural to me now. I decided to do some kind of versals for the capital letters, to keep the text from being just a big ol' boring block of grey.

Der neue LGBTIQ* Weihnachtsmarkt in Berlin

Die LGBTIQ* Winterdays (15. November - 23.

Hier präsentierte sich das „Who is Who“ der LGBTIQ*-Community.

Christmas Avenue Berlin - The finale of the 2019 Face of Christmas Avenue competition

The new LGBTIQ* Christmas market in Berlin

The LGBTIQ* Winterdays (15 November - 23 November 2019) and the Christmas market "Christmas Avenue Berlin" on Nollendorfplatz complemented Berlin's Christmas markets. Nollendorfplatz, right next to the Metropol Theater, shone in new splendour. For the first time, an LGBTIQ* Christmas market took place there in Berlin - the "Christmas Avenue". Christmas Avenue opened its doors on November 25, 2019.

Having grown up in Cologne, Christmas Avenue moved to Berlin after many successful years. Former Governing Mayor Klaus Wowereit took over the patronage of Christmas Avenue Berlin.

In addition to mulled wine, hot cocktails, unique decorations and a daily changing stage program, the Christmas market of the LGBTIQ* community presented itself as a market for everyone - everyone was welcome. In addition to a first-class selection of drinks, culinary highlights and an incomparable lighting concept, the market offered a daily Advent calendar presented by the hotels of the "pink pillow Berlin Collection". Every day, all visitors had the chance to win great prizes by opening the little doors.

The "Christmas Avenue" Berlin offered a daily stage program in the evening hours. The "Who's Who" of the LGBTIQ* community presented themselves here. Weekly recurring daily highlights such as "Happy Hour", "Drag Bingo" on Tuesdays and the election of the "Face of Christmas Avenue" on Wednesdays ensured that no two days were ever the same. A party hut for up to 50 people equipped with a mulled wine dispenser and a curling rink could be hired for private Christmas parties.

As an enrichment for the Berlin LGBTIQ* scene, the "Christmas Avenue" was not only an additional attraction in the capital, but also made a special social contribution to various charitable associations through fundraising campaigns.

Presenter (singer) Marie Mondieu aka Stefan Kuschner and presenter Addi Kaey were looking for the FACE OF CHRISTMAS 2019.

Due to the great size of the Barony {Japan, Guam, Korea, and sometime China}, and the small population of SCA folk {Military and itinerant teachers}, we rely heavily on making up baronial awards based on some pdf pre-made scrolls - just add names and paint! So, none of these were created by me, only painted. I enjoy it though.
