Cross stitch from a Dimensions kit. First project I ever framed. Symbols are something along the lines of "blessings", "health", "happiness" and "good fortune".

YO!!!

Schnozz man and gutty creeper.

Whether to swipe, scroll or type, the way we use our hands is evolving. Yet the desire to keep restless fingers busy is nothing new. From using tools, to communication, comfort and care, our hands allow us to make connections and manipulate the world around us. At this Friday Late, visitors questioned the ritual of handshaking, explored the language of hands through dance, and used emoji gestures to decode the narrative of paintings; they explored the future of prosthetic hand design, helped their fingers cope with smartphone withdrawal, and used embroidery to consider the hand’s symbolic status.

Pictures taken for putting it on eBay, but might as well stick 'em here too, and maybe get around to putting this in the PigPog museum sometime.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are a collection of 972 texts from the Hebrew Bible and extra-biblical documents found between 1947 and 1956 on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea, from which they derive their name. They were specifically located at Khirbet Qumran in what was then the British Mandate for Palestine, now the West Bank.

Elegant scrolled bead caps, sparkly fire-polished glass, and shiny blackstone are all brought together by a toggle clasp. This bracelet is dressy, but not over-the-top.

The bracelet measures 8 inches long. The largest beads have a 10mm diameter.

Self-color floral pattern in glossy finish is printed over every item and makes up for the base design of this product. A see thru cut-out on front of card covered with clear plastic, makes room for name of bride and groom or Event name. Round wooden bars are used to give an ethnic look. Scroll is also printed with same pattern but in color matching to box with space for text on one side.

Isaac's car being cut out of the wood block by a scroll saw. One of the pack Akela's was nice enough to bring their scroll saw on their truck to a weekly Cub Scout meeting and carve out the bodies for all the kids' cars.

We are already planning for next year. We're planning on whooping out the awesome wonder of a "Dremel" rotary tool on our next car.
