Willy Porter played two amazing sets with keyboardist/pianist David Adler (a hilarious guy and musical genius in his own right) at the Ram's Head Live in Annapolis. The only flash allowed is from the performers themselves, so I had to work with the available light, which also happens to be the title of a terrific WP song.
Eventually, this picture will be a blog entry subtitled, "Willy Porter Doesn't Love Me." It's sad, really.
I love Willy Porter. I believe I have mentioned that many times over the years.
This title is a reference to a comedian who made fun of rock and roll guitar players, describing their riffs as "scribbly scrabbly do!" Willy's more refined than that—and way better than just a "do."

I got a box of three Scribble Scrubbies from a thrift store. There had been four in the box but one was missing. This is my second favorite.
This is a random doodle that i obviously did in history yet it has no direct links with the subject itself.
Its a bit blurred...

I find it strange that I actually like how these two pages look. These two pages were actually rather fun, I couldn't tell you the last time I actually did something like this.

i drew a daughter 2 months ago.
i left this picture for a while and it was after a long absence today and had it in my hand.
i drew it, and a striped pattern of a shirt was added to this picture by a daughter.
This pillow is made from the 'Scribble Flower' print. it's nice to have such bright prints on cushions, it brings a bit of personality into every room.

Most of the doodles and scribbles in this set are from the quick-fire drawings that I make as part of my new Bedtime Drawing Regime, where I try and knock out as many sketches as I can in as short an amount of time as possible - just before I head off to sleep. I normally make between 5 and 10 drawings then turn in for the night. I find that the most interesting results come from just putting pen to paper and going for it without really thinking about what I'm about to draw. Some of them turn out quite well - others not so...
