I've been busy stamping and coloring cat stamps for the past several weeks in preparation for the Cat Lovers Hop 2017 on Her Peaceful Garden. This scribble cat image is by VivaLasVegastamps and came in a grab bag years ago. I added stitched squares by Cottage Kutz, Nuvo drops, a sentiment by Cardz TV, and old DCWV papers.

Mount Hay Road curves through an archway of Scribbly Gums (Eucalyptus haemastoma). Their vivid trunks make accurate exposure difficult even in the late afternoon winter sun. The road is a 15km gravel road from Leura through to the Blue Mountain's National Park area near Mount Hay, NSW, Australia. If you want to drive it, I should warn you it's rather rough in places in a two-wheel drive. I'm guessing after rain it's four-wheel drive only.

I call these my "scribble" flowers as they remind me of a scribbly doodle you might find in a sketchbook :) Fashioned in a freeform style, the wire is reminiscent of a line of pencil meandering its way across a blank page.
A delicate copper wire flower blooms through a small circle of copper and drops lightly from a bright copper ear wire. Measuring just under 1" (2.4cm) in diameter, these pretty flowers are striking without being overpowering.
