What a fantastic day as science fiction and movie fans from all over the North East got to meet at North Shields. It was a fantastic day and my personal highlight was a meeting with the legendary David Warner. Loved meeting up with old friends and meeting some new ones too

Spaced is a British television sitcom written by and starring Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson, and directed by Edgar Wright. It is noted for its rapid-fire editing, frequent pop culture references and jokes, eclectic music, and displays of surrealism and non-sequitur humour. Two series of seven episodes each were broadcast in 1999 and 2001 on Channel 4, and were re-aired early in 2011 on both More4 and Dave.

I'm a week late with my fabrics for the swap because of issues I had with a screen. Figured it all out today and I'm quite pleased with the results!
Last night was another James Street North Art Crawl. This time, my flickrfriend Michael Hrysko had some of his fabulous shots of Hamilton showing at the HIStory and HERitage Museum. It was set up on 6 screens, which scrolled through his photos that had been divided up into 6 themes. A great show! And congratulations, Michael. Many more such shows, we hope! For the record, I had to ask people to stand aside so I could get this shot.

We are in the midst of Blue Screen of Death trauma at the moment so, bizarrely, I cannot see this picture. Or if I look as mumpy and out of my depth as I feel.....
It seems to have happened, coincidently no doubt, on the night of the power cut but despite having been shut down in the normal way most everything to do with sound vision and printing no longer works.
