Spaced is a British television sitcom written by and starring Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson, and directed by Edgar Wright. It is noted for its rapid-fire editing, frequent pop culture references and jokes, eclectic music, and displays of surrealism and non-sequitur humour. Two series of seven episodes each were broadcast in 1999 and 2001 on Channel 4, and were re-aired early in 2011 on both More4 and Dave.

I'm a week late with my fabrics for the swap because of issues I had with a screen. Figured it all out today and I'm quite pleased with the results!

Last night was another James Street North Art Crawl. This time, my flickrfriend Michael Hrysko had some of his fabulous shots of Hamilton showing at the HIStory and HERitage Museum. It was set up on 6 screens, which scrolled through his photos that had been divided up into 6 themes. A great show! And congratulations, Michael. Many more such shows, we hope! For the record, I had to ask people to stand aside so I could get this shot.

rolling the excess screen into the grooves, leave a little over an inch after the screen has been crimped in, roll the screen edge up to the groove then push it into the groove with the roller mashing it in so it is tightly inside.

The carvings are Victorian, showing Christ seated in majesty, between the four Evangelists. The altar frontal was made in 1969, by local artists, and (to quote the display panel nearby) shows the colours of the liturgical year and represents the Cathedral's pinnacles reflected in the waters of the River Severn flowing nearby.

Once again, we have a piece of modern work in an ancient setting, and once again (in my opinion, which others may not necessarily share), I feel that it works well towards its ultimate purpose.

What a fantastic day as science fiction and movie fans from all over the North East got to meet at North Shields. It was a fantastic day and my personal highlight was a meeting with the legendary David Warner. Loved meeting up with old friends and meeting some new ones too

The Kenwood Drive-in opened in 1949 and closed in 2009, ending sixty years of outdoor movies as well as being Louisville's last operating drive-in. The property is still fairly nice and the theater could be reopened without much serious repairs, but that is unlikely. It's on a fairly large piece of land and will likely be demolished when developers decide that they need another strip center in the area.
