My custom scratchbuild art doll based on Matt Mercer's delightful NPC from Critical Role

Filled and sanded the scribed line and added very thin stretched sprue instead. Extremely fiddly and I think it may be a bit messy at the top, the stupid yellow plastic makes it very hard to see.

Similar to the Road Warrior (Interceptor) rollcage, roughly based on replica photos, by the way. The major difference is that the Holden XB (clearly, not a Mustang) in the movies was right hand drive. I didn't feel like chopping up the dashboard.

Work in progress.. I'm surprised AMT/ERTL hasn't produced one of these. This is based on the "Dukes of Hazzard" CJ5 (which is incorrectly labeled as a CJ-7 on the box).

The top is going to be scratchbuilt using the clear plastic soft-top included in the kit, with styrene. I'm not sure yet what truck bed I will use or if I will just completely scratchbuild a new one. Obviously the chassis will be stretched properly. Should be interesting either way.

Fujimi Suzuki Escudo Lowride. Changed the wheel to Aoshima 19" ABC Glanzen. Change the front seat from Aoshima Rocket Bunny Toyota 86. Change the steering wheel. Scratch build roof rack. Add muffler tip detail. Add scratch build antena in front right. Finished in Candy Lime Green (TS-52) with Grey/Buff interior. Custom setting suspension. I have been working this time to create a more multi-dimensional diorama for my figures. Since I am making this one for MiniMates, a lot of the pieces are smaller than I have been building in the 6 inch scale. Since I started the window frames, I have moved onto the stairs. I wanted this particular house to have a set of curved stairs to a landing and then a second set of stairs up to the front door. I think it is a cool architectural touch, and a potential for some fun photography in the future...if I ever get this thing built. I have since added the side railing, which is drying in the garage.

A Ma.K display of kits and my scratchbuilds at Dornoch this October. The Jabberwocks legs in the background behind the Wespe.

I made the roof out of a sign, and the steel walls out of Reynolds heavy duty aluminum foil. Glued to a piece of 4" PVC. Got ahold of some little dies that make the foil corrugated. Still need to work on this technique and paint the roof, install ladders, etc.

I needed a building with unusual dimensions to fit a strange spot on my layout, so I scratch built a modern highrise using plexiglass, styrene, foam core and other details. Check out my blog for more detail on this:

First attempt at fabricating a big grain dryer for my layout.

The engine and transmission dont bear much resemblance to the real thing. The engine block is the right sort of shape but the transmission appears to be completely made up.

Given that I've removed the engine bay baffles I need to make the engine look a bit more realistic, more to come.

Plus I need to figure out how to build the transmission...

My rough scratchbuild based on Makoto Kobayashi's "C-Eyes". Note this is not intended to be a replica as I am not using any of the correct donor kits.

The turret is turned to the right and the gun barrels are aimed at about a 35° angle.
