12th scale haberdashery and sewing shop. All hand made except for the doll, the two stools and the sewing box / spools kits. Inspiration from the Internet and from real shops. Box in multiplex as is easier for nails and screws but it tends to warp.
A delectable assortment of cheese and crackers, including two types of butter crackers, rye crisps, black sea salt swizzle sticks, liver mousse, black peppercorn mustard dip, aged Brie, and Black Corinth and Concord grapes is the perfect centerpiece for your next dollhouse party, and it would look lovely in a gourmet food display.
The wooden board measures approximately 2" by 1 1/2"; food handmade from polymer clay. Fabric courtesy of satsumabug.etsy.com.
The wonderful texture of the frosting can be observed in a light pink, ceramic bowl - should you feel the need for more frosting.

This quarter scale 1950s kitchen was a workshop I did at the 2010 Ontario Miniatures Gathering.
I had a ball making the curtains, cupboards, counter, table, window, floor, walls, and many of the accessories. I even painted the canisters!

To date, still one of my favorite pieces. This was a commission from a customer, shown with the lens cap from my camera for scale.
Each leaf was freehand cut and individually painted. The challenge was splitting off three trunks from a single one while still making the entire plant look slender and graceful.

Mrs. Schwartz is hoping to get a real china cabinet some day. However, until I can find or build one small enough for her living room, she is content with her display shelf.
Mrs.Schwartz was made by Nicky Cooper. The paintings are by Andrew Nicholls. The television is a Christmas decoration and will eventually have a photo added to the screen. I made the fireplace and the display shelf. The Christmas cactus I made from a kit.
