Before saving, tomato seeds must be processed using a wet processing technique. We were leaving the Lower Rock Run Preserve parking lot when we spotted this Cedar Waxwing Fledgling a long way from safety. We picked it up from the hot asphalt & carried it to a shady area in the grass where mom could find it.

The approaching "change" - as we say here in Oz - that brought relieving rain and helped our brave firefighters to control the fire that destroyed two homes, 5000 stock and 4800 hectares.
but first... some windows
found at a construction site.... the air breezing through the window, debris on the outside, debris on the inside... bureaucracy has determined to put the demolition on pause for a few weeks, so we get to live with the view for a while.
