We shared this one. Caramelized maple syrup, homemade bread, and powered sugar. If your in Toronto and you are in the mood for brunch I highly recommend Saving Grace on Dundas. West. After an almost 4 mile walk I was famished. We arrived at 10am which was fortunate because we were at the front end of a large group of people with the same idea. The place had a total of about 10 tables with minimalist decor. The food make up for the decor in spades. The owner/wait staff is charming with a great smile and she informed us she also does the baking. I probably should have written down the dishes but hopefully the pictures will entice you to visit Saving Grace.

The cemetery is featured in the beginning of Steven Spielberg's 1998 film Saving Private Ryan. A World War II veteran, accompanied by his family, makes his way to the grave of Captain John Miller (played by Tom Hanks) and segues into the movie's opening battle sequence, the D-Day landing at Omaha Beach. The grave does not actually exist; the headstone for Miller was only brought to the cemetery for the movie. The Captain John Miller portrayed in the movie never existed, but the Private Ryan story is based upon the story of the Niland Brothers, two of whom are buried in the cemetery.

One morning, Aaron snuck out of the cabin with Quincy. I woke up soon after, grabbed my camera and went for a walk. I happened upon them at the tennis court, where Aaron had to take a break from the game to attend to a crying Quincy. I took over the baby holding duties for a set & a half. By the time it was all over, Quincy was fast asleep in my arms. The same thing happened the next day, too.
