There is a policy that you can't save any chairs on the deck. It is really annoying when you can't find a deck chair because so many people are saving them anyway. It was funny to come to the pool this morning and find all these towel animals in the chairs! 11/21/12

Instead of Saving Private Ryan it's save City Hall. Clarksville, Missouri is an historic town of 500 people, midway between St. Louis and Hannibal, was in the same situation as other northeast Missouri communities that were trudging on, giving up, or suspending efforts Tuesday as they tried to meet the challenge of near-record flooding expected later in the week. At a crest of 38 feet, the Mississippi will be 13 feet above flood stage there. National Guard members, Missouri inmates and college students were sandbagging levees and buildings trying to protect the town..

This is the finished project that I had to do for my photography class.
This project was SOOO stressful. I had the HARDEST time printing these. I gave up on some of them. Notice how pretty much all of them are bad prints. Oh and the dust on them is from my scanner.
All in all... I really think this came out good.

Having bought a bucket of fish from a vendor on the river the pilgrim releases them back into the river. There are many ways to save lives, human lives and of all moving feeling beings but some of us don't have or take the opportunity. By this ritual act we are transformed. As we see the fish swim away we realize the preciousness of all life and our own life. We realize that we should do something with this rare opportunity. When the Dalai Lama was asked, "When is a life worth living?" He answered, "When one is able to have a kind thought of another."
