i don't think my obsession with clarendon will ever end.
for anyone looking to make their own save the days, i would recommend it. there are about postcard size, and we got 100 printed on cardstock at kinkos for a little less than 40 dollars. pretty awesome.
ps. anyone seeing this who is interested in something similar, message me! i can make them for you!
I'm sure this has saved its fair share of people in it's lifetime.
I'm not sure I'm happy with this one, I can't see anything wrong with it, it's just nothing pops out at me.

Returning from vacation in the summer of 2011 back in my country I found myself in front of this terrible show.
A whole mountain was on fire and the only thing you could see in total darkness, it was the fire front.
The worst thing is that most of these fires are deliberately started, hung by people who do not make scruples about destroying a fantastic natural landscape, despite being in a national park.

Al ritorno dalle vacanze nell'estate del 2011 nella mia terra mi sono trovato di fronte questo terribile spettacolo.
Una intera montagna era in fiamme e l'unica cosa che si riusciva a vedere, nella totale oscurità, era il fronte del fuoco.
La cosa peggiore è che la maggior parte di questi incendi sono di origine dolosa, appiccati da persone che non si fanno nessuno scrupolo nel distruggere un'area naturale stupenda, nonostante sia all'interno di un parco nazionale.

Hearing a shrill scream behind me, I turned to discover that Renee had lost her footing, and had fallen over the cliff's edge. Grabbing onto a tree root, she reached out her hand towards me, crying out for help. Instinctively, I stretched out my arm to save her, but at that moment, I hesitated. The tantalizing sight of Renee's exceedingly delicious angel food cake came into my mind's eye. The recipe had been handed down to her by her grandmother, and was a closely-guarded secret. "I will save you," I said, "but on one condition; agree to bake me one of your homemade angel food cakes, please! Oh, and I would also very much like a homemade caramel apple!" (aren't I awful?) ;-)

Yes, the opposing keeper made the save on Jen #65, one of Riley's best friend. In regular season play, the team has 14 goals, of which 12 have been scored by Jen and Riley. Yes, I'm a proud dad!

I believe most of the objects in our everyday experience can have a second life and often spend time thinking about how to reuse something or what purpose it might have long after it’s original intent has passed. When I saw the shape of the jar, as well as the size of the lid I knew it would make an interesting “holder” and paperweight. I also was inspired to use both components of the jar as functioning pieces that "worked" together. Once I began to look at the natural-tone of the brown lid I thought of sand and how it might complement the lid color. I also thought the use of sand would be a daily reminder of how I was keeping plastic out of the ocean. I also like the look and feel of sand because it instantly reminds me of the ocean, which reminds me of special times and trips with friends and family. Plus who doesn’t want to have all of their pencils in one place!

toby was sitting on jeff's chair, but jeff wanted to sit there to eat lunch. jeff politely asked toby to move, but because toby is both stubborn and deaf, he declined. jeff pretended to sit on top of him to get him to move, which didn't really work out well for either of them. jeff ended up tipping his plate (with un-folded burrito) and grasping it between his thighs to keep it from falling onto the carpet. i expected to hear loud swearing as a result of the taco juices to the leg, but instead i heard a very triumphant "SAVED!"
also, jeff was peed on earlier.
and since i couldn't stop laughing at jeff's burrito-leg, i suppose i deserved getting baby pee on myself twice later in the day.
This is my final piece for my college project ''Self Image''. For the project, we had to create a photo that portrayed us in some form or another. There's a meaning behind this but i'll leave that for you guys to interpret on your own. :)

Some of the protesters have genuine interest in the issue. The construction of the railway will mean that the villagers of a village would have to move from their home, with compensation from the Government. I think they are the ones who deserve sympathy.
There are unfortunately other protesters who have no genuine interest in the project. They protest for the sake of it.
An exhibit in the 2014 Swell Sculpture Festival, at Currumbin Beach. I think this sculpture would be a great symbol for any one of the many "save the whale" groups.
The whale is made of galvanised chain. The hand is made of chain also, but appears to have been anodised, then selectively heat treated to set the various tempering colours.

The mood like the food we kept it light
till someone ordered escargot.
How sad for the snails, I cried woefully
shedding tears on my brioche.
To have given up their lives needlessly
for the bourgeoisie, how gauche
To my friends, I cried You and your dialectic.
Save the dolphins.
Save the ozone.
Save the whale...
There is a factory I know where they are farming escargot.
We must save our friend the snail.
We planned the mission with the utmost precision,
spied the factory from across the boulevard.
The alarm was taken care of by Pierre the electrician,
while I seduced- I mean, subdued- the guard.
Need I tell you, our timing was crucial
not to be caught at the scene of the crime.
