i was gonna go with another one with less stuff in it, but i liked the flag flutter up in the right and the starbust lights from the long exposure.
This is a picture I took several years ago but never added before. I decided to have a little fun and add some Sepia tones and toss it on the website.
i am a little irritated i cannot get the colors to match on this dippy, but oh, well. obvs i need to learn photoshop. it is about time ;)
I asked the guy if I could take a picture of his tattoo of Frankenstein's monster. He said that his last name. I believed him. He was surprised I did not doubt me. He showed me his drivers license.

Kevin Walsh surfboard for James Durbin May 14, 2011 city of Santa Cruz gift from Ryan Coonerty. Put in the board bag ready to get to the Boardwalk via Hilary Bryant. Board Bag from TC at the Boardroom. Thanks Wingnut for having Lochner check the cage. Novak and I even went in and measured boards. Thank you also for the offer to give the new Santa Cruz board if we didn't have time to do the art we were going to do a mega sticker graphic but the original art on the board is the best.

From March 2019.
Classic wooden coaster, built in 1924 and is the jewel of the Santa Cruz beachfront. My favorite airtime is - unusually - in the first row, going up the fourth hill after the initial drop. Love the tunnel at the beginning of the ride too!
You may recognize this rollercoaster from the movies Lost Boys (1987) , and Us (2019).
The arcade at the boardwalk has an excellent selection of old video games, though they are missing Joust.
Other photo sets from a gorgeous almost-summer day in Santa Cruz:
Vintage video games and spooky fortune tellers at the arcade
Breathtaking 060430 Natural Bridges state beach
Twirling, swirling Salsa by the Sea
A diner, signs, some wildlife, and us elsewhere around Santa Cruz
