Color is all wrong - but the construction is just what we wanted. Solid plywood box, full extension drawers, pullouts in cabinet below.
left is a 3 thread overlock and the left (above) is a 3 thread rolled edge. I used a thread with some gold metallic content in the upper looper in both cases. I decided not to use this edge finish.

The Ashton farms folks are the friendliest people vendors in the market. They greet every passerby and invite them to help themselves to samples.
here is a sample of the stitches after I got the tension adjusted. took over an hour to get it done. kept having little loops on top of the material which ment that the lower tension was not what it was suppose to be. looked at my other vibrating shuttle machine and noticed the tension on the shuttle was a bit tighter so I took the spring off the shuttle and tweaked it abit and reinstalled and adjusted the screw a couple of times and got my stitches looking a lot better. it treadles nice and smooth.
Samples of chains and pinecone inspired designs. I used several materials of the colour palette I created for this project 'Casual Premium'. I used calico, leather, tin foil, cotton and painted calico.

Cheer up the world with some colourful typography.
There were three baclava versions to sample. One was flaky filo (almost like puff pastry) sandwiching a think layer of sweetened pistachio nut meal, one was a roulade of ground pistachios covered with a very thin layer of pastry, and the third was a crunchy crisp pastry surrounding a center of toasty whole pistachio nuts (my fave).
