Sample of an unrestored photo. This one had scratches all over it. And the color was off. And the brightness.
For my first sample I used a stencil to print onto cotton using pink and purple disperse dye which I found the most successful earlier in my project. Then over this print I used the same stencil and screen printed with foil. For this print I was inspired by Elie Saab SS20 which included lots of decorative details using materials similar to the foil that l used. For my second sample I printed onto fabric using dried flowers as a resist technique. For the print l used a mix of colours from my colour palettes and used some of the floral stencil to create a distorted pattern. I was inspired by my primary photos and Valentino SS19 which uses similar floral patterns.
