Jan 2012. Contextualising a collected sample. Lighting created using fluorescent lamp, mirror, perspex sheet and white fabric to highlight specific areas.

Samples spun from my Spinning Ergonomics class taken at Red Alder Fiber Arts on Feb 14, 2020.

Blue skein: Looks a bit like Ashland Bay's Soft Teal colorway, but I'm not sure what this is. Chain-plied. 15 rounds, 23 yards, 16 g. Aran weight.

* 4.7 g remains, 7 yards

Tannish skein: Chain-plied. 12 rounds, 18 yards, 11.7 g. Worsted weight.

Gray skein: Chain-plied. 17 rounds, 25 yards, 20.8 g. Aran weight.

White skein: 2-ply. 7 rounds, 11 yards, 4.9 g. Sport weight.
