Taken at the top of Camp Bank on the way to Highgate Common in South Staffordshire in December 2014

Young male Red Fox out hunting voles on a snowy day.

I just checked our weather.

It has warmed up.

Now 15 degrees.

But, it is also predicting another 8 inches of snow today.

Since, they are usually wrong, on the low side.

I figure it will be at least double that.

I guess time will tell.

even more distant in same field of winter wheat was a small group of Golden Plover

Taken same day as www.flickr.com/photos/138912516@N03/24384412161/in/dateta... -- I was originally going to throw this one away but decided it was worth keeping when deleting old photos today. It shows very clearly why the snow could become so golden in the sunset that day.

Same picture as the other one except this one gives the cat a glamerous phot-shopped look.

From the same ride along the east side of Lake Union yesterday. In the background, the Assertive, former naval vessel. The goose was pretty assertive too—climbed right up out of the water and came next to me. No food with me though. We are still allowed to walk and ride freely here. I keep triple the recommended distance away from anyone.

Same spot different image. I'd naturally gone with the colour options first with the shots from this location. After a few bites at the mono conversions I gave up. A re-visit to the set has now given me one that I'm reasonably happy with.

This is for my best friend because

Just as it has for the past century, the Winchester and Western rolls through Winchester, VA on ex B&O trackage.

same cake, I just added a broch to see if it would work or if it was to much....

Buildings by water seems to be a pervasive theme wherever I go and whatever I shoot ;)

On Saturday 30/11/2024, 7AD1 (Aurizon intermodal) is seen approaching Helps road (Direk) with gwa001-fq02-901 in charge. 901 was being moved to Spencer Junction for forwarding to Whyalla. This is one train that is a clear example of the one dimensional-ism on show by lolrizon.
