Young male Red Fox out hunting voles on a snowy day.
I just checked our weather.
It has warmed up.
Now 15 degrees.
But, it is also predicting another 8 inches of snow today.
Since, they are usually wrong, on the low side.
I figure it will be at least double that.
I guess time will tell.

Taken same day as www.flickr.com/photos/138912516@N03/24384412161/in/dateta... -- I was originally going to throw this one away but decided it was worth keeping when deleting old photos today. It shows very clearly why the snow could become so golden in the sunset that day.
From the same ride along the east side of Lake Union yesterday. In the background, the Assertive, former naval vessel. The goose was pretty assertive too—climbed right up out of the water and came next to me. No food with me though. We are still allowed to walk and ride freely here. I keep triple the recommended distance away from anyone.
Same spot different image. I'd naturally gone with the colour options first with the shots from this location. After a few bites at the mono conversions I gave up. A re-visit to the set has now given me one that I'm reasonably happy with.
Just as it has for the past century, the Winchester and Western rolls through Winchester, VA on ex B&O trackage.
