same thing than before, but I tuned the lighting.. HDR is fun no ??

So... After waiting for three hours for a kingfisher to land on a twig, I decided to throw in the towel, closed the hatch and go and find some bugs to shoot. Anyway, thought I better take a Chinese singing lesson before I went any further and blow me if the kingfisher didn't turn up mid song.

Managed the shot and washed my boots at the same time.

Result :@)

Another composition from Lochdon on Mull - see the previously posted image here www.flickr.com/photos/twodeeswildlife/54832142960/in/date... - this one with a nice reflection and slightly different white balance.

Same field, other denizen. Here just off Knickerbocker Road in Pittsford, New York, is a wonderful Halictid Bee gathering pollen on Fleabane.

SORN. No online MOT records.

Same shedding Anole as a previous post, different view.

Same corner and lens, different angle. Can't see the riders faces, but some good corner shapes and like the way it shows the straight the riders are turning into.

Same river, different direction. It is quickly becoming my favourite place in Wales.

Clearly the fungus goes all the way through the rotted core of the tree. But does the fungus cause the rot, or does the rot simply form an excellent habitat for the fungus?

I hope some fungi-philes out there will express an opinion about the type of fungus and my chicken-or-egg question.

Same sunset, same North Rim path, just a more intimate perspective.

Same 'shroom, could be Leucocoprinus birnbaumii or Leucocoprinus cretaceus. INat tells me it’s a Casual Grade because it is “Cultivated or Captive”, and so far no-one has connected on the ID, so I’m hoping that someone here can shed light on the species. This is a 104-image focus stack, using Helicon Focus — Method B-R4- S2, and the resulting image colour corrected, retouched and sharpened in Photoshop.

PLEASE: Do not post any comment graphics, they will be deleted. See info in my bio.

Early 90s Jetta seen in NW London, rarely seen in London now in comparison to Golfs of the same era, its done 120k miles but has a hig list of advisories.

Wild lupines in Sugar Hill, NH

Same Kangaroo as before but shot only 30seconds before when the sun rays really stood out.

Old. Same time as this shot. Not very original, considering.

Edited film scan - Fuji Supéria 200 / Canon FTb - 55mm f1.2

No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.

Today my husband & I are celebrating 11 years of togetherness.

We couldn't be more different from each other but at the same time, succeed in maintaining a perfect harmony for years. we have known each other since we were 17 and literally grew up and transformed into the people we are today, together. he knows my inside out and I'm his, he had seen me at my best and at my very worst, we don't try to change one another and always give each other the needed space. he's my anchor and help me keep my feet on the ground while I tend to live with my head in the clouds, and although i've made my fair share of mistakes and tend to be quite a crazy bitch, he never gave up on me…. and for that, I am very thankful.

Another Saturday afternoon finds the Ashland turn again tied down between crews at Mellen, Wisconsin, a regular scene on the WC of 18 years ago that I took for granted at the time.

At first I was sure this was Red, same facial features, fur, colouring and body size, even down to the white patch on her chest. We compared photos from the past as much as this bear looks similar it is not Red, mostly likely one of her offsprings. She is a tough little bear, held her own against George, we saw her slap him good a few days ago, George was trying to bully her out of the fishing hole .....she won.

Same post as earlier but from under the pier.
