Looking back to Winter Hill from the West pennine moors. The mast is lost in the leaden skies somewhere?.

The Rustic Bridge is beautiful all year round, but it gets the most attention from students during Orientation Week. A snippet of Allegheny folklore has it that a female student just isn't a real "coed" (now that's a quaint term!) until she has been kissed on the 13th plank of the Rustic Bridge. So it's an Allegheny tradition that groups of freshman students race to see who can be the first to steal the famous 13th plank. Maintenance keeps a supply on hand - the plank usually disappears within 24 hours of new student matriculation.

Previously uploaded, but re-uploaded after producing in higher definition. Unfortunately can't replace videos in flickr, unlike photographs.

A pair of original paintings are also hung on the exposed brick east wall. These are by the Hans' grandfather, an art professor in Seoul.

Although the decor is rustic and eclectic, with chandeliers (from their Philly home) and factory lamps hanging from the ceiling, and 1940s scoured school chairs next to custom made tables from refurbished wood, the restaurant does serve new "style" Korean.

Continuing, 5th state record I believe.

Painfully slow but at last the Emperor strikes!

Last night I set the trap up as it was quite mild and cloudy and the temperature looked to hold up at least for the first part of the night, but by the morning it was a little cool and clear and I was like 'where are the moths?'

There were just two moths! One in the trap and one on the fence, that was it.

Often this is a slow period as we shift from Spring to early Summer and the Orthosia species drop off, and every year it nearly grinds to a halt with just the odd moth to save me from the dreaded blank.

Double-striped Pug was the moth on the fence and in the trap was a new for year Rustic Shoulder-knot.

But...better things were to happen this afternoon, I thought I'd just pop the Emperor moth pheromone lure out in the garden whilst I did some gardening in the vain attempt of actually attracting one and blow me down, it worked!

Within 5 minutes I was up and down the garden with my net trying to catch it.

He was very lively indeed with his antennae flickering and we popped him in a large food tub in the kitchen to let him settle down then it was back outside on the grass for a very quick photoshoot and off he zoomed over our back fence.

Result! And Macro moth no.582 for the garden.

Here are more baseball cuffs that I created using Vintage and game used baseballs, rhinestone pins, and DMC Embroidery. I hand delivered these beauties to DMC Last week!

A little of the olde, a little of the new, I’m a reclaimed leather sketchbook for your thought-pictures.

My rustic brown leather coat is sure to inspire, with its natural forms left uncut to wrap your drawings up safe.

I begin & end with vintage sheet music from the 1930s and a little tea-stained paper. In between, you’ll find 36 sheets (72 pages) of beautiful Incisioni paper by Cartiere Magnani (Italy) on which to write. At 310 gsm, this illustrious environmentally friendly paper is pure luxury for the most fastidious artist.

Hand stitched in to my coat with a double layer of archival linen thread, I lay flat when in use for accessibility and ease.

Measuring 7 x 4 inches, I’m a unique journal for the writer, artist, thinker, ponderer or wanderer.

Englewood Cliffs,NJ. Sinatra was a singing waiter here in 1939.

We spent over an hour in this area but there were very few butterflies to be seen. The few I did see were generally not common on my trip but were very wary.

I had hoped for better photos of this one.

Corrado Rustici Aham Tour 2016 feat.
