Bow Bridge, one of the most handsomely designed cast iron bridges in the world, spans sixty feet across the Lake, linking the cultivated and flowering landscape of Cherry Hill with the rustic and sprawling woods of the Ramble. Its proportions and sinuous length inspired one visitor to remark that the bridge looked "poured" over the Lake.
Bow Bridge owes its existence to Commissioner Dillon's desire for a suspension bridge; the designers compromised with a low-lying bridge. Named for its resemblance to an archer's bow, it immediately became one of Central Park's most cherished bridges. It continues to be the romantic setting for wedding proposals, classic film shoots, and the choice of many photographers who want to capture one of the signature design features of Central Park.
Central Park was designated a scenic landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1974.

This morning as I was out on a shoot going to a second location, this wagon caught my eye. It was sitting on a corner lot of a four way stop. I knocked on the door of the house and an elderly lady still in her flannel pajamas answered the door. I asked if I could take a couple of pictures of her wagon. She told me she had just gotten over the flu and was not finished decorating the wagon for Christmas. I asked if I could come back after she finishes decorating it and she said yes, so it will be another photograph for a future day.

Man Fabric at last! A rustic and geek combination of patterns with no florals or paislies whatsoever. Having noticed the latest duck boot trend on college campuses across the USA; I sought to make a rustic fabric set to please the scholar and geek (such as earth tone candy dots that look somewhat digitized in formation; and paper airplanes flying over the Pyranese mountains); with matching patterns that are rustic/grunge but comfortable (such as worm eaten wood, peeling paint, and, old book paper stripes)

The two smaller top drawer fronts are from the one piece of timber. How lucky to find a piece with natural indents in it, perfectly positioned for handles.
My daughter teaches in Scarborough, Maine and she says many of her local students head to Cabela's on a weekend just to roam its displays, etc. I can imagine these seats get well used by the grown-ups then -
I think I used the flash on this. I was in manual mode. I think I'm going to shoot it again in auto/macro to see if there's any difference.
