These are growning up out of the mulch around our house. I almost missed them. We've had an abundance of all kinds of mushrooms this fall.

These monopoles are approximately 40-45 years old. Their nearly century-old neighboring lattice tower has withstood the elements much better than this younger replacement for one set of the lattice towers.
NOTE...most of the right-of-way does not carry lines on the lowest tier, only the top three plus the shield wire.
These originate from the coal-fired steam generation plant in Kenosha, WI and the now de-commissioned Zion Nuclear Power Plant and terminate just south of Golf Road in Skokie, IL.

Spectacular rusting turned this rather odd but otherwise innocuous billboard - advertising a gym - into something altogether different. What really startled me was that this billboard stayed in place on a derelict parking lot for years without anyone seeming to notice. The, er, appendage, just kept on lengthening! In Kyoto, Japan.

Much like Denver's Lodo area, Bricktown in Oklahoma City is in transformation as it's being brought back to life. Next to dilapidated historic buildings are new hip restaurants and the Bricktown lofts are on the rise.
Taking a photo walk around San Angelo, we spotted this old rusted down truck. It was missing a lot of parts including some tires. Majority of the body was intact though. While others were taking pictures of the whole truck, I thought it would be better to focus on the actual rust of the truck. It just seemed to tell a different story then the whole truck. The colors that this rust makes just shows how much time this old truck has seen.
