Me on the left. Short break on a long country run. 🏃

San Jose, California.

I rather liked the street light repetition as the runners cross into Hatch Forest, part of Epping Forest.

''...Io ne ho viste cose che voi umani non potreste immaginarvi.

Navi da combattimento in fiamme al largo dei bastioni di Orione...

e ho visto i raggi B balenare nel buio vicino alle porte di Tannhäuser.

E tutti quei momenti andranno perduti nel tempo come lacrime nella pioggia.

È tempo di morire...''

CSX Q751 passes the MARC station at Dickerson with what was then the normal quartet of Geeps for power. The eastbound loads tended to follow the tail end of the MARC commuter rush and always sounded amazing clawing upgrade east of Point of Rocks. This train still runs, but with much less exciting power.

Les colonnes de Buren...

two men run through concrete that was never meant for running. one passes through a door, the other along a wall, both reflected in water so still it forgets it is water. the architect drew curves and portals and light falling in stripes, but he did not draw the runners. they added themselves, early morning or late evening, when the tourists have gone and the city belongs to those who move through it without stopping to look. their reflections run beneath them, upside down, a parallel world where everything is the same except gravity pulls the other way. they do not notice each other. perhaps they are the same man, seconds apart, caught twice by a camera that refuses to believe in time. the concrete holds the light a moment longer. the water holds everything.

When this movie came out was 1982 and he spoke of a future in 2019. Was then so far away :))

Today we are almost in 2016 makes me think one thing.

They were provided for flying machines and today we are still petrol We clone sheeps and we go to Mars, but we can not produce clean energy for all ..... We remove wings to those who have brain and designs "nonsense" and give wings to those not use them. I must definitely admit that Big Brother has won on all fronts...

An image of morning runners on Manly beach. Originally I processed the image in BW but the color here I find thrilling.
